Completion of the "Western Europe - Western China" transport corridor will give a new impetus to the development of the sphere of passenger transportation of Kyzylorda region, Bnews.kz correspondent informs citing the press service of the regional department of passenger transport and highways.
This year after the completion of construction of "Western Europe - Western China" international highway as well as "A-17 Kyzylorda - Zheskazgan - Pavlodar - Uspenka - Russian Federation border" road it is planned to introduce new bus routes to Aktobe, Astana and afterwards to other regional centers of the country.
By the way, in 2015 construction of a new bus station in Kyzylorda and bus stations in Karmakshy and Shieli districts will be started. They will be constructed along "Western Europe - Western China" international highway on the vehicle route.
Currently transport operators provide mainly passengers pickup services from settlements of the region only to Kyzylorda. There are a lot of routes linking aul districts with regional centers. In particular, now 211 bus routes operates connecting 212 villages and towns with district and regional centers, more than 1,400 buses of various capacities are involved. 30 LLP and dozens of private entrepreneurs operate in the field of bus services.
