Until the end of 2015 remaining 65.1 km of roads in Zhambyl region will be put into operation

The total length of "Western Europe - Western China" corridor in Zhambyl region is 494 km, including 437.24 km funded by ADB and JICA. 372.14 km road have been completed and put into operation with cement concrete pavement I category, including 4-lane road with cement concrete pavement - 228 km, and 2-lane road with cement concrete pavement - 80.14 km. In addition, construction and reconstruction of 63 km of roads with asphalt concrete pavement II category have been completed.

At this moment Taraz bypass - 65.1 km in Zhambyl region is not completed. Full completion is expected by the end of Taraz bypass project in 2015.

The problems that exist today: delayed completion of the construction and reconstruction of buildings and structures of Road exploitation point km 163 Otar, Road expolitation section-35 Kordai settlement, and the construction of REP transferred to km 451 Akyrtobe settlement is going on; the deadline is June 5, 2015.
