BNews.kz website «www.bnews.kz». Kyrgyzstan will join to "Western Europe - Western China" highway in Kazakhstan

Kyrgyzstan will join to "Western Europe - Western China" highway, passing through the territory of Kazakhstan. For this purpose, Kyrgyzstan will construct "Bishkek - Chaldovar - Merke" highway. This was stated by Mr. Valeriy Dil, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic, reports BNews.kz correspondent.

According to him, access to the WE - WC highway will enhance economic activity and allow traffic flow to shorten the route between Kyrgyzstan and China, which would entail a new flow of goods.

Vice Prime Minister instructed the Minister of Transport of Kyrgyzstan to start negotiations with the Kazakh side for confirmation or permission of exit to Kazahstan territory.

"Transit will go through China - Kyrgyzstan, EAEC - EU that is very attractive in the future for Kyrgyzstan in expanding further trade and economic relations", - said Dil.
