For the timely implementation of 11 road projects of "Nurly Zhol" program 301 billion tenge is allocated from the National Fund for the years of 2015-2016. This was reported by Mr. Amangeldy Bekov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Roads MID of RoK, at a briefing in Central Communication Service "About the implementation of the orders under the construction and reconstruction of highways within the framework of "Nurly Zhol", informs BNews.kz correspondent.
"It is also planned to attract loans from international financial institutions. It is about one trillion tenge, or about $ 5.5 billion. Currently, the Ministry held preliminary talks with IFIs and before the end of the year it is planned to sign 12 loan agreements"- said Mr. Amangeldy Bekov.
Thus, IFIs loans will be involved for implementation of the following projects as "Center-South", "Center-East", "Aktobe-Atyrau-Astrakhan", "Zhetybai-Zhanaozen" and "Uzynagash-Otar."
“Section from Karaganda to Kurty will be implemented under "Center-South" project through loans. To do this, loans will be involved from the World Bank and the European Bank in the amount of 2.6 billion USD. The precise direction of the route will be determined under "Centre-East" project in the current year, for project implementation it is planned to attract loans from the World Bank, Asian and Islamic Development Banks in the amount of $ 1.5 billion. For "Aktobe-Atyrau-Astrakhan" project will be attracted loans from Asia and Islamic Development banks in the amount of 960 million USD. For "Zhetybai-Zhanaozen" project implementation will be used ADB loans in the amount of 140 million USD. And for "Uzynagash-Otar" section - World Bank loan in the amount of 213 million USD", - informed Mr. A.Bekov.
According to him, feasibility study will be developed under all projects in current year. Construction work is scheduled to commence in the second quarter of next year.
