Czech company «OHL ZS» JSC commenced work in October 2013 and plans to complete the construction of Ili Bridge next year in accordance with work program.

Today, the company procured the following road-building materials: gravel sand mix, crushed stone, sand, cement, concrete products, accessories and fixings, required to continue the work on Lot 8 (km 283) of "Almaty-Khorgos" road within the framework of "Western Europe - Western China" International Transit Corridor.

In 2013-2014 the following works were performed: site clearance in the quantity of ​​50 m2 out of 100 m2, the piles construction in volume of 8102 m3 out of 9034 m3; pile cap construction in the quantity of 1482 m3 out of total 4857 m3; reinforcement in volume of 696 out of 1363. In 2015, inter alia, it is planned to metal spans assembly, handrail and guardrail construction and crushed stone base construction.

Up to date overall 47 units of equipment and 179 people are mobilized, including nine foreign and 170 local staff. Mainly Subcontractor equipment and machinery is involved in project.
