Contruction of the most important logistic facility, local section of Westren europe – Western China International transit corridor is being completed in Kyzylorda region, reports BNews.kz correspondent.

The biggest section of Kazakhstan part of International road corridor is passing trhough the territory of Kyzylorda region with the length of 811 km.

According to the information of regional department of enterpreneurship and tourism, about 16 600 people take part in reconstruction of road in Kyzylorfa region. Approximately six thousand people worked in construction directly, of which four thousand were local citizens. Besides, more than 11 thousand people were involved in adjacent areas, maintaining construction with necessary materials, products and fittings.

Now work is being completed at last section of road – from border of Karmakshi district to Akzharma settlemetn of Syrdariya district. «EVRASCON» Eurasian construction corporation is performing works, the Contractor from Azerbaijan.

«About 16 km is remaining, it is necessary to lay the third layer of pavement with thickness of five cm, and construct shoulders at ten km», - specified work supervisor Mr. Azer Nassibov.

Also construction of overpass at the interchange is close to completion, which is located near district center Zhalagash.

«Overpass is 84 m in length and 20 m in width, the vehicles can go on it in four lanes, two lanes each direction», - told site superxisor Mr. Vahid Mamedov.

By the way, as it was told in Regional department of roads and passenger transport, «Western Europe – Western China» – is not only road of first and second category, but also 48 bridges, 14 transport interchanges, two overpasses and 336 culverts.
