The agreement was signed on December, 15th last year for a total sum of 173 million dollars. The loan has been given for 19 years and includes a four-year grace period. Means will be directed for construction of 98 kilometers of the road. Now competitive procedures are in progress for the Contractors’ selection on the basis of the international competitive tenders. Already in June MinTransCom plans to start Civil Works at these construction sites.

At the end of the session the Chairman of Senate, Kajrat Mami, has read the Senate plans for legislative provision of the problems, stated by the Head of the State. He has underlined an important role of the Parliament in governmental system. Regarding the problems, with which the Senate faced, Mami has expressed his confidence in due time poor-quality legal provision of the direction for development.

Priority directions of legislative work during the current period is a legal support of the state policy in the sphere of social modernization, including development of education, public health services, provision of employment for the population, realization of the industrial and innovative program, legality provision, strengthening of judicial system.
